Book Review — Giddy Up, Girl!

Giddy Up, Girl by Jeanie Brosius King is a story of grit and determination and, ultimately, inspiration.  Jeanie is the mistress, so to speak, of the Beautiful Network of Women (B-NOW)  Radio Show/Podcast and a life coach and speaker.  She hosts women’s retreats geared towards renewal and relaxation.

This book is the written version of that mission.  She outlines her early difficulties – troubled, sometimes absent parents.  Catastrophic injuries.  Failed marriages.  Through her own energy and hard work, she refused to let physical or mental anguish slow her down and instead used that pain to inspire her to move forward.  She learned to be grateful for the adversity for ultimately giving her the toughness she needed to face what life threw at her. 

This short book is meant to inspire others, as Jeanie’s radio show does.  It ends with a list of exercises you can do to help you clean out “your house and living conditions” literally and metaphorically.
