Beer/Bestie/Banish Ep. 16 with Barbara Stark-Nemon

This book is historical fiction, taking place in the early 1600s. It follows the journey of Isabela, whose family converted to Christianity from Judaism during the Spanish Inquisition. The New Christians were not trusted by all the priests or the community of the time, and Isabela had to use her wits and skills to stay safe. Like the best of historical fiction, it has really shaped the way I think about current events.
